Les actus du bureau d'étude.
This year, to pay tribute to Le Corbusier, Cassina out its new collection: LC50.
The LC collection was initially signed by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret in 1965 following the will to create furniture appropriate for the human body positions. From this moment, Cassina has been the only brand allowed to edit the pieces from the drawings, in collaboration with Le Corbusier Foundation and his heirs.
The brand’s wish to conciliate handwork quality and new technology allows the collection LC50 to be more environmentally friendly.
The latest news are the use of new materials for less toxicity and a lower impact on the environment.
– Trivalent chromium
– Organic leather
– Microfiber cloth
In a move to modernity, the collection is also enriched with a new color palette with current trends, but also respectful of Charlotte Perriand research.
